Understanding these neurotransmitters and how they interact can help mentors support their mentees in creating healthy and fulfilling lives.
In our program, you will learn about each neurotransmitter's role and how they impact mood and behaviour. We will explore how imbalances can lead to anxiety, depression, and even violence towards oneself or others.
We will teach you techniques to help your mentees bring their neurotransmitters back into balance, leading to better mental health and wellbeing

In this module, we will provide an overview of the DOSECAT acronym and the seven neurotransmitters it represents. We will discuss the role of each neurotransmitter in regulating mood and behavior and how imbalances can lead to mental health issues and violent behavior.

Part 2 : Detailed Learning Outcomes
Introduction
The role of a mentor is essential in shaping the lives of people, and one of the most crucial aspects of mentoring is the ability to have meaningful conversations.
A mentor's ability to conduct conversations that create mental clarity and resilience, untangle emotions, heal emotional pain, and facilitate personal growth and development is crucial to their mentee's success.
This training program is designed to provide mentors with the skills needed to conduct these types of conversations effectively.
There are 3 conversations that mentors will learn how to navigate DEEP dialogue.

Untangling Conversations:
Untangling conversations help mentees explore and understand their emotions without seeking a solution. Mentors will learn how to create a safe and non-judgmental space for mentees to express themselves, explore their feelings and identify the source of their emotions.
Through the use of the U.N.I.F.E.R process and Essential Dialogue techniques, mentors will be able to guide their mentees towards untangling their emotions effectively. This will allow them to progress to the next two stages ie healing and evolving.
Revitalising/Healing Conversations
Mentors will learn how to conduct healing conversations that assist mentees in addressing emotional pain resulting from past experiences. Mentors will be able to use the RANE process and Essential Dialogue techniques to help mentees identify the source of their pain, explore their emotions, and develop a plan to heal.
The ability to facilitate healing conversations can lead to transformative outcomes for the mentee. By healing their emotional pain it hoped that they will stop being violent to themselves and others
Evolving Conversations
Evolving conversations are aimed at helping mentees grow and develop emotionally. Mentors will be trained to use the UNIFER process and Essential Dialogue Communication techniques to create a consultative process that assists mentees in identifying areas of growth and development.
This process helps mentees evolve to their next stage of personal development, enabling them to deal with the challenges of life with a new level of emotional maturity. The focus is on facilitating the mentee's growth and development, without judgment, and through a consultative process.
